Formed in late 2020, JUKEJOINT is a Nelson band playing electric Blues and old-school R&B, with a touch of Americana.

 

Inspired by such Blues legends as Jimmy Reed, Paul Butterfield, Bo Diddley, Junior Wells, Billy Boy Arnold, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, The Rolling Stones, Keb Mo, Tony Joe White and numerous others, our Set List includes all-time favourites Mystery Train, Route 66, Born in Chicago, Diddy Wah Diddy and Baby Please Don't Go.

 

 2024 is shaping up to be another great year for JUKEJOINT.

Bookings remained solid, with regular gigs at The Boathouse,  The Riwaka Hotel, Wakefield Hotel, Golden Bear Brewing, Fairfield House, Tasman Bay Blues Club - (The Barn at Monaco) and local Festivals.
